The Young Citizen of the Year Campaign (YCY) is a fantastic opportunity for young people like you, between the ages of 8 and 20, to organise your very own fundraising activities and take part in some voluntary work for your local community. Whether you prefer to stick to tried and tested ways of raising money, or are up for a challenge by trying a new activity, the YCY Campaign gives you the chance to get involved in activities you never thought of doing before and have fun doing the things you are good at.
Everyone who takes part in the YCY Campaign will receive a Certificate of Achievement. But for those people who demonstrate real commitment and initiative, there is the possibility of being selected for special recognition at our Awards Ceremony in July 2008, where you will also meet local celebrities and key figures of the community.
