Masonic support

Freemasons from Cheshire and Salford donated over £12,000 to St Ann’s after a year of fundraising.

A cheque for £6,219 from the national body for masons, the United Grand Lodge in London, was presented by Peter Owen, Assistant Provincial Grand Master for Cheshire Freemasons, together with £2,000 raised by Masons across Cheshire.

“Our donation demonstrates our commitment to the community in which we live, and especially the work of St Ann’s Hospice in helping those who need it most of all,” said Peter.

Another cheque for £4,579 was presented by Malcolm Roberts, Salford District Chairman in the Province of East Lancashire.
