Our Fundraising PromiseWe are members of the Fundraising Standards Board self-regulatory scheme. The Fundraising Standards Board works to ensure that organisations raising money from the public do so honestly and properly. As members of the scheme, we follow the Institute of Fundraising's Codes of Fundraising Practice and comply with the key principles embodied in the Codes and in this Promise. |
Little Hulton Fundraising Group is inviting new supporters to join their team, which has raised many thousands of pounds for the Hospice over the past 30 years.
The group’s chairman, Sidney Wander, awarded the MBE in recognition of his fundraising, said: “We are looking for supporters to help us continue to stage imaginative fundraising events that are both popular and entertaining.” The group hold an annual quiz, which is always a success and every other year they stage musical events in aid of the Hospice.

Are you taking part in a sponsored event in aid of St Ann's Hospice? Do you want to avoid the hassle of chasing people for their sponsorship money after the event? Then Justgiving could be the answer!
With Justgiving you can easily create your own webpage for people to donate money to sponsor you for your event. This can be an event that has been organised by us (eg. the Midnight Walk below), an annual event (eg. The Great North Run), or something you have organised yourself (eg. climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!). Absolutely no web experience is necessary, it's as easy as typing in a few details and adding a picture if you would like one, then the page will be created. You can then email a link of this page to all your friends, family and colleagues. Furthermore, St Ann's Hospice automatically receives any donations made via your page.
For more details visit the Justgiving website, or contact the Fundraising Office on 0161 498 3646.
St Ann’s Hospice needs to raise £16,000 every day through voluntary
contributions to offer its wide range of services. In total it costs
£8.75 million each year to run the Hospice, of which only 35% is received
from government funding. It is the support of the local community that enables
St Ann’s Hospice to continue providing the highest standards of care to
patients, families and carers.
There's no limit to the ways you can support St Ann's, from donating goods to our charity shops or filling a collection cube with loose change, to taking part in one of our fun events.
Use the links on the left to see what you can do....
