The aim of the Institute for Learning and Development is to ensure hospice
practice is of the highest quality and standardised across all of our sites.
This is achieved through the integration of the components of clinical governance
including risk management, clinical audit, research & development, user
involvement and ongoing professional development.
Staff within the Institute also work collaboratively with external agencies
to lead, support and encourage the development of palliative care practice in
a variety of health and social care settings.
